The last few days have been a whirlwind of events. It started out on the 13th, when I was informed that we had until April 20 to get everything done for the sports mentorship and not April 27. My first reaction was to run around like a chicken with my head cut off. Once I settled down, I just planned my attack on how to get it done.
I first figured out how I was going to get the remaining hours I needed. After that, I wrote everything I had to do up on my dry erase board. As I finish an item, I cross it off. It will definitely be tight to get things done but all we can do is our best and see what happens.
I had a doubleheader of softball on the 13th and 16th. The games went well with no issues or concerns. It did take away from school stuff but at the end of the days, I had just 15 hours left to do. I was also able to get in and do research work on Sunday after the game so that made me feel more optimistic.
